- Prepare a short 30 second introduction or pitch to use with employers at the fair. Come up with reasons why they should bring you on based on your skills, knowledge, and attitude.
And while you are at the career fair:
- Dress for success! Bring a smile, strong handshake, and a positive attitude. Be professional and interested in the potential opportunities each employer offers. You want to make a good first impression so they remember you or even choose to do a short interview on the spot.
- Make sure to visit multiple employers, even the few that you might not be immediately interested in, because that might change after getting more information from them which will open up more opportunities for you.
